Written by Thames Williamson in 1933, this is a First Edition without a dust jacket. The woodblock prints in this book are by Raymond Bishop and to me they are the on par with Rockwell Kent's work. This is the story of a violent and reckless man, whose attempts to secure love and freedom force him down a path of self-destruction in the Ozarks. Cloth covered boards have minor edgewear, foredge of text block has some staining not affecting the interior text. See photos
