Rose colored softcover published by the Committee on Undersea Warfare. Originally a restricted document with paperclip rust stains on top of pgs. 246-252. Index and b/w charts and graphs among 295 clean pages. Spine is worn but holding tight. Due to WWII urgencies the Nat'l Research Council recommended a laboratory be established to cover the fundamentals of submarine warfare. San Diego was chosen and worked with the Woods Hole Oceanographic Inst. and Navy vessels. This is a SUMMARY TECHNICAL REPORT.
