Out of Door Library set

Complete set of The Out of Door Library series, 4 volumes, Charles Scribner Sons, 1897. Olive green cloth boards w/gilt titles on spine and publisher's device for Scribner Sons centered on cover. Assorted authors for  Hunting,  Mountain Climbing,  Athletic Sports,  Angling. Each volume has a b/w frontispiece and multiple b/w images with impressive detail.  Each volume has decorative initials, chipped and worn spine head and tail, scuffed board tips, most pages are lightly age toned around edges and all 4 vols., have visible inner hinges.  More specifics include
 Athletic Sports pg145 has 1" horizontal closed tear, pg151 has half inch vertical closed tear. This volume includes well researched chapter on Country Clubs and Hunt Clubs in America (golf and fox hunting) some of which still exist. Hunting has damp stain to edges of pastedown and ffep. Page135 had a toned section torn loose and reattached. Text block is 90% separated from rear hinge. Stories include a Kangaroo Hunt and Last of the Buffalo. The spine of Angling has 6 small holes indicating bug damage not affecting interior. See photos, sold as a set.
